While some areas are more common then others, such as along the spine, a voxibells manabone can form almost anywhere on it's body.
Voxi's will always have at least horns, with the exception of the hornless trait, and the horns do not count towards the total count of manabone areas. Manabone forms in many different ways, it can be flat patches, large spikes, small nubs, and even form in recognizable shapes such as stars, hearts, hooks, etc. Some voxibells are considered manacore voxies. This is due to a manabone formation on the tail tip that can easily be imbued with elemental magic of their affinity to be used as a dangerous weapon. Due to the crystal-like nature of manabone, it can have a wide array of color within it, but the manabone color must remain the same across the entire voxibell. |
COMMON
Up to 2 common locations can have manabone protrusions. These must be short in length! No larger then the size of standard horns. UNCOMMON Up to 4 common or uncommon locations can have manabone protrusions. These can be longer/wider, but not exceed 1.5x the height of standard horns. RARE Up to 6 common, uncommon, or rare locations can have manabone protrusions. These can be long, twisting, and vary in shape greatly. MYTHIC Manabone overgrowth. The voxibell's body is primarily covered and manabone, and manabone can even be used to replace lost limbs and body parts since the magic attunement is so strong the voxibell can use magic to manipulate it's movement like a limb with no issues. Manabone is the source of a voxi's magic so is very important to them! You can read more about voxibell magic here: |
A voxibells body is covered in a fine fur, but there are some areas that the fur can grow as longer.
Voxis can grow fur, of any length within the locations on this visual chart. The fur along their head and down the spine very commonly grows long and can be styled. You do not have to use all of an area for fur growth as it only marks out the range of the area. Have fun and be creative with your placement! If you are unsure of something, please just ask! |
